Hi, I am Mathilde — a 32-year-old mom living in Dublin with my husband, our son, and our two cats. Welcome to my About Me page! After a pause from blogging, I am excited to share my journey, thoughts, and daily life with you once again!
I have been passionate about Ireland for as long as I can remember, so after completing my studies in English and tourism, it was only natural to move here. In August 2015, I landed in Dublin for my very first job. A few years later, I branched out into tech, working in customer service, mostly within recruitment and HR. More recently, I have been writing online content for users of an HR tool.
Writing, however, has always held a special place in my life. As a child, I loved creating stories and even “magazines” with my cousin. As a teenager, I started my first blog. Back then, I dreamt of becoming a journalist or novelist… but my love for travel eventually led me in a different direction.
I created September Lullaby just before moving to Dublin as a space to share my life as a young adult — my discoveries, favorite things, and occasional rants. Over time, I continued to share little glimpses of my life on Instagram, keeping in touch more casually. Since Covid, I have lost the spark for blogging and turned my focus to other beautiful projects, like planning my wedding and growing a tiny human.
